Flora London Marathon 2006 · 23 April 2006 ·

Children and adults with Down’s syndrome are all unique individuals with their own personalities, family backgrounds and preferences that make them who they are. We aim to create the conditions that all people with Down’s syndrome need to live full and rewarding lives.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, I hope that you can dig deep and sponsor me online so I can make my target for the 2006 London Marathon on Sunday April 23rd.

As some of you visiting this site may already know, last year in June2005, my daughter Hope Aston was born already 'asleep' suffering from Down's Syndrome.  Since then it has been a difficult time for both my wife, Christine and I to deal with the loss, however, we both see this event as a means to help us move on and to raise money for those families whose lives are also touched by Downs in some way.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Down's Syndrome Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support - Hope some of you can come down and see us on the day.
