Please dig deep and sponsor us on-line.<br /><br />We&rsquo;re going back again for our 7th year of fund-raising for <strong>CLIC-Sargent </strong>at the <strong>CLIC-24 </strong>hour mountain bike event.<br /><br />The official <strong>CLIC-24 </strong>event web site can be found here <a href="http://www.clic24.org.uk/">http://www.clic24.org.uk/</a>, and the event HQ is based at the <a href="http://www.charterhousecentre.org.uk/directions.asp">Charterhouse Centre</a> on the Mendips. The event itself is celebrating its 10th anniversury and we are proud to be part of this.<br /><br />We are entering a team again this year, slight shake up with Andy Edwards stepping in for Paul Clark. The off-road course has been changed this year and is more like 10 miles rather than 10km that it has been previously. Even so, this should be within hour ride time for us, therefore as always our challenge will be 24 laps in 24 hours!... Perhaps offer to donate extra if we meet our target of 24 laps eg &pound;5 for every lap over our target.<br /><br />Quote from the last years post-event report, "Latch appeared on the finishing straight with 5 minutes to spare and the biggest smile, we all cheered him in."<br /><br />2007 was a mud bath and we managed 22.<br />2008 dusty &amp; warm for the whole 24 hours and we managed, 'a lot', 27<br />2009 was tough and wet, 21 laps but this makes us even more determined to complete 24<br />2010 was a logistical headache with PaulC having to do all his laps before midnight, but a success with 25<em></em></p> <p>Anyway, enough of that, the important thing here is to raise as much cash for CLIC-Sargent as possible, so please be generous, perhaps skip a takeaway this week and donate the savings.<br /><br />Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
