Story
On Sunday 21 September, due to a misunderstanding in a conversation about David Bowie, I will be stepping out of a plane to become 'The Man Who Fell to Earth'. Broadly speaking, I will be aiming at Bicester, but frankly starting from 10,000 ft up, anywhere vaguely soft will do. Tesco in Chipping Norton could cause a stir, the Crystal Palace TV mast would be quite spikey and the San Siro would be a little too far south. It's all in aid of the Alzheimer's Society and in memory of my grandfather. Yes, I'm worried about hitting the ground too hard although my son seems more concerned about me missing the planet altogether. I hadn't previously considered that possibility. I'll take a map. Help if you can. Anything you feel able to give to support the amazing work of the Alzheimer's Society will be truly appreciated. Thank you.
