It is a devastating reality that as many as one in three people will be exposed to cancer during their life. For those affected, hospices are often the unsung heroes that travel alongside throughout their journey and deliver love, hope and support.
On the 1st July 2010, I will be starting my own journey of support and will be cycling from London to Paris in three days to raise money for the Fair Havens Hospice, http://www.fairhavens.org.uk/ , Fair Havens Hospice provides respite breaks, symptom control and end-of-life care for adults living with serious conditions and aims to make their journey - and that of the family - as comfortable as possible.
This is a mammoth challenge for me and I would be delighted if you would dig deep and offer your support by making a donation to Fair Havens Hospice through the Justgiving system.
