Pedal for Pounds is a 220 mile bike ride in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

I’ll be attempting the Huddersfield to Southend route over four days, starting out on August 5^th. My aim is to raise £1000 for the cause – which is just £250 per day!

The air ambulance helps to save lives across Yorkshire. It’s a service which we often take for granted but you never know when you, or a loved one may need it. It is run purely on the charity of others and the secondment of paramedics from the NHS.

I’m really looking forward to the challenge, and the opportunity to do some good whilst getting out and about and seeing a bit of the country.
