Your donation will make a double difference as BSkyB will match-fund up to £300 of my total - and you can even donate via SMS by tetxing SKYN55 £10 to 70070.
I'm weighing up which is more terrifying: the 200+ miles or the 4 hours in a tiny ferry cabin with my fellow Sky News riders. The Duchenne Dash is a gruelling 24 hour bike ride from London to Paris in which media rivals and friends take on this daunting challenge in aid of a great cause. We’re riding to help fund a treatment for Duchenne Musclar Dystrophy - a wasting disease that leads to paralysis and death in all cases. Newsreaders and executives from Channel 4, ITN, ITV and Sky News have all set aside their rivalries. Google will ride with Twitter, comedians will ride with TV bosses and spin doctors with journalists. We need your support. Follow our journey, enjoy our pain, but please donate and help us make it worthwhile.
