I will be running the Leeds Half Marathon on 13th May 2007 and in doing so will be raising money for Yorkshire Cancer Research.

There are always many competing appeals for raising money and my cause is no more deserving than the next one. Please do not feel obliged to sponsor me, but if you are able to find a spare couple of pounds kicking about then that would be brilliant. I'd rather have 50 sponsorships of  £1 donations than 7 or 8 people who are able to donate a fiver.

Having said all that it is a very tough, hilly course, it will be May so it will be warm and sticky and I'm bound to swallow loads of flies, its a proper early start for a Sunday morning as well so I won't be having a lie in and to top it all off I won't be able to go to the last Liverpool game of the season. Makes you think about the sacrifices people make doesn't it?
