I ran the Virgin London Marathon 2010 in aid of Wessex Heartbeat and aimed to raise at least £2500. Thank you for all your generous donations. I completed the marathon in 4 hours 53 mins . If you would still like to donate , all monies would be greatly appreciated.
A year ago my son Jack started school and became friends with a very special little boy called Jacob, who was born with congenital heart disease, sadly there is no cure. Jacob has had over 40 general anesthetics and numerous surgical procedures and has spent a significant amount of time on Ocean Ward,Southampton General Hospital .
These facilities are one of the finest in the country and only possible with the fantastic work of Wessex Heartbeat who rely on the generosity of us all.
