On Friday 12th June 2015, I will be cycling from Wolverhampton to Aberdovey to raise money for Action Heart.

This is the first time I've done this and at 103 miles, will be the furthest I've ever ridden. Luckily there's a few hundred other riders to keep me company!

I selected Action Heart as my wife and I have first hand experience of losing a loved one to heart disease and associated conditions. My father died suddenly from a heart attack in 2011 and within 12 months, Jo's father suffered a stroke which he didn't survive. Not long after that, a good friend and colleague of mine collapsed and died whilst playing cricket at just 33 years old.
