Story

The 60600 challenge now has a text donation option.

Memories are what life is made of. Dementia causes these memories to fade away and disappear. It’s an illness that steals your loved ones away from you and leaves behind pain and heartbreak. We're working hard to build memories for everyone who takes part in 60600 either by taking on a challenge or supporting challenges through donations. And the funds we raise will help dementia sufferers and their loved ones enjoy life the best way they can within the limitations of this savage condition.

My Story

Throughout this year the 60600 challenge has been united against dementia by fundraising for the Alzheimer's Society. We hoped to get 60 people to raise £600 each, and so far we have over 80 challengers deliving thousands of pounds to the fund.

What can we do?

Our challengers have delivered stunning events throughout the year - and as our year comes to an end Super Saturday on 11th November will see the finale of 60 sports in 6 days at the ice hockey match between Sheffield Steelers and Manchester Storm. There will be the first showing of our music video - and the song  'A Good Life'  by Steve Edwards is available for download from all major platforms with all monies going to the Challenge. The whole of the Sheffield Arena crowd are invited to donate by text or via just giving, and the total will appear here.
