I have been giving the scary opportunity of taking part in the Paris Marathon in April as part of a 50 strong team from EDF Energy. Of which only 10 are from the UK.

This is my first and probably only marathon and it is going to be a major challenge so please show your support for me and Paralympics GB as I have pledged to raise £1000 by July.

As a mum of 3 it is quite a daunting commitment that will test my determination as I attempt to juggle work, family and study commitments to find the time to endure the gruelling training schedule.

Your support will keep me going through the wind and rain, the injurys and illnesses and general moments of monotony. It means alot so thanks so much
