We fund life saving medical research to beat the world's biggest killers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

You may be aware that we recently found out that our baby will be born with a congenital heart condition. Congenital heart condition - an abnormality of in the heart’s structure present from birth - is one of the most common forms of birth defect, affecting around one in 145 births in the UK – or 4,600 babies every year. Many will need specialist medical treatment or surgery to survive.

Our little girl, Isla Grace Stonebanks arrived on 25th march at 2.25pm weighing 6lbs 12oz and is doing relly well. It has been confirmed she has a CHD called tetralogy of fallot and will  need surgery. Isla is doing really well. We will be visiting the royal brompton hosp soon and have appointments at hillingdon also booked up to find out more and when surgey will be taking place. Isla's sat levels will be monitored weekly. Please keep Isla in your thoughts and prayers.

Isla has now had her open heart surgery and is doing well .It was a very hard time and without doubt the hardest thing we have ever done. Whilst in hospital and by meeting lots of other families through different groups  it made us realise how many children and familys are affected by CHDs and sadly how many children dont survive their fight against CHD. I am making it my personal mission to raise awareness of CHDs and help raise money towards helping fund research into CHDs.

PLEASE HELP ME AND DONATE BIG OR SMALL IT ALL HELPS!!
