I am raising money for Leukaemia Care as I was inspired by the courage with which one of my friends tackled her diagnosis a few years ago. It is also a disease which has affected my family on 2 occasions. 

I am really looking forward to the challenge of training for and running the Virgin London Marathon 2010 and also being able to help this wonderful charity raise some funds to ensure that they can continue to do their amazing work.

I realise that it isn't the best time to ask people to donate to charity given the current economic climate, but it is a great cause and a VERY long way, so please give as much as you can...
