We did it! We cylced the full 140 miles in JUST 2 DAYS and it was a great achievement. With the support of generous donations we have raised money for Oxfordshire Mind. Steve was there to push me up the hills if I needed it but I managed all the hills on my own steam.
This bike ride was inspired by my passion for undertaking new challenges, my love of the outdoors and in memory of my MUM, Anne Patterson, who was a regular service user of Mind in Wantage (a community resource project run by Oxfordshire Mind for people who are experiencing mental and emotional health problems such as anxiety, bereavement, depression, loneliness, post-natal depression, recovery from breakdowns, stress and schizophrenia).
From my own family experience I know how Oxfordshire Mind plays a vital role in responding to the community needs and offering support to those whose lives have been impacted by mental health problems. Raising money for Oxfordshire Mind and gaining publicity for the work they do is something that is close to my heart and I want to THANK YOU for helping me to raise this money.
