My story

 

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I have now completed the Manchester 10k Run and survived!

Thank you so much for your tremendous support. I was certainly helped along my way by knowing that so many of you had sponsored me. I could not have acheived it without the constant support of my two running partners  Lesley and Carol! Thank you all so so much.

Here's a reminder of why I did it:

Like many families mine has been touched by cancer - my younger brother is currently undergoing treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and my Mum was cured from breast cancer some 22 years ago.

The work that Cancer Research UK carries out means that with every passing year, more is known about the disease and patients benefit from improved treatment. Maybe one day a cure will be found? Here’s hoping.

The generosity of my friends, family and people I haven't even met, has been overwhelming. So much so, that I have been able to raise my initial target several times. Thank you.
