I've not managed to do much training for the run so it's true when I say it's going to be hard work. I am determined to complete it and raise vital funds for The Christie Challenge team.

As many will know, a dear colleague was diagnosed with cancer last year and she has challenged us to run with her in aid of The Christie. As a friend and colleague there isn't very much physically we can do to help through these difficult times so supporting by taking part in the 10k is the least I can do.

Cancer has now touched my family and the journey is starting again. Let's pull together and do something positive about it and raise a shed loads of money.
