Yes, that's me in my cycling gear with my bike - just about to set off for a practice for my off road cycle round Cuba.  I will be cycilng approx 350km in 5 days in November 2009 to raise money for the Yorkshire Cancer Centre Appeal.

The lives of many of my family and close friends has been touched by cancer and the Yorkshire Cancer Centre has helped to care for some of those people. The effect this disease has on those suffering and everyone around them is devastating and I am always interested in ways to aid the funding of care and research. 

This worthy cause funds specialist medical and scientific equipment, clinical research  and provides patients with home from home comforts  to make their hospital stay much more reassuring and positive.
