My Mum was diagnosed with alzheimers by the time she was just 62, previously a lovely bubbly fit lady with a kind word and support for everyone it was a real shock to all our family.

My sister June and I are doing the Great South Run to raise funds for Alzheimers Assoc to help assist in the needs of the patients along with important support for the family that are with them on this journey.

June and I have completed a 10k run in 55 minutes...and are so pleased....we continue to train and up our distance...we will get there.... :) x
