Hello and welcome to the Angry Swans Woodlands Hospice sponsorship page
The Angry Swans is a multisport club committed to raising money and lending our hands for charitable causes - A crack commando unit sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. Promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the 'Los Southport' underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no-one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can sponsor the AS-Team.
It is also a tribute to a dear friend, a man who in his life raised over 140,000 pounds for charitable causes, not mentioning his youth work, notably with disabled children to which there is absolutely no gauge. He was a mountain, unmissable in personality, rooted in the path of selfish people, but open to let all sit on his shoulder and see the world from his larger perspective. In ways, the angry swan is more than a swan: it is the pheonix from the ashes and we all fly to reach the heights we remember sitting on the shoulder of Peter Little.
Stepping into our second year we are setting ourselves the ambitious challenge of doubling our success and raising 6,000 pounds to share between our selected charities:
