<p><strong><span style="color: #008000;">All rescues are struggling with the numbers of animals they are being asked to find new homes for and ARC is no different. We do find loving homes for a lot of our animals, but there are some who have been with us for a long time, for a variety of different reasons; some have had such poor starts in life that they have problems trusting humans and are so timid, they strike out in fear, making them difficult to rehome. Some come to us with medical problems so people do not want to take them on due to the possibility of large veterinary bills and some poor souls are just too plain looking for some people and are overlooked again and again :(.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #008000;">But, at ARC we do not turn an animal away for any of these reasons, so they will often spend their whole life in rescue. We have started this appeal to raise some much needed funds to continue to care for all the long term foster animals in our care and really do hope you'll be able to find a few pounds to help us.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #008000;">With Christmas just around the corner, its sad to think of animals in rescue at this time of year. But with a bit of extra money, we can give those unwanted animals a little bit extra too.</span></strong></p>
