I've never thought cancer will ever affect my life...Luckily my closest family and friends were well...till last November. My dear Mum was diagnosed with lung cancer at the end of November. When I found out about it, I decided to do something to other people who were affected by this horrible illness. I've been an athlete my all life. Every year I take part in Edinburgh Marathon, 2014 was not suppose to be any different. I have signed up a while ago. But this year it will be very special, I will run it for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of my Mum who saddly passed away on New Year's day.

I'm setting myself, unachievable at the moment, pb target. I want to run it in 3h10min. My previous pb is 3h35min. I hope your support and reason I'm doing it will help me to motivate myself to training again and achieve the goal.
