Hi everybody, thanks so much for taking the time to visit my fundraising page and hopefully make a donation. As a lot of you know last summer I went to India to volunteer for a fantastic charity called Brighter Future, I met some amazing people that will always have a place in my heart. The children at Brighter Future were beautiful lively and bubbly children, they all made me feel very welcome and it felt like home. In India I spent most of my time in Prem Nivas a hospice for children who are HIV+. It is such a loving place where the children are always smiling and playing. All the staff at Brighter Future are absolutely fantastic people and they devote their lives to looking after these children and adults on a daily basis.
I have decided to do this run to try and raise as much money for these wonderful people as possible, I have been training for the run for a while so fingers crossed for race day!! I have just run the Manchester 10k as a practice and finished it in 1hour 17 minutes so hopefully I will do the London run faster! I am going back to India after the run in July for a month to volunteer for Brighter Future, I am really looking forward to seeing all the staff and all the children!!
BRIGHTER FUTURE International Trust aims to improve poor children’s lives through care, education and ongoing welfare. Brighter Future India, a sister charity in India runs two children’s home and a Hospice for HIV Children. The money raised from the British 10K London Run will help to pay towards the Rainbow Boys Home that was opened in 2008 for boys in Brighter Future Trusts care.
Please Please sponsor me and donate whatever you can spare to change the lives of the wonderful children and many more. Even if it’s only a small amount it can really make a huge difference for these children. The children that are at Brighter Future have been saved and are very well looked after, the more money raised means that even more children can have the opportunity to grow up in a safe and loving environment with Brighter Futures help. If you want to see any pictures from my visit to India last year then please check my facebook page, the pictures show exactly who Brighter Future helps and how fantastic they are!! Also for more information on the charity please visit www.brighterfuturetrust.org
Thank you so much and I will keep you all updated on the running!!
