Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Mosaics for Mae Tao clinic started as a project from my pastime of making mosaics and a personal interest in the clinic. Mae Tao clinic is located on the Thai side of the Thai/Burma border in Mae Sot. It provides medical care for Karen refugees from Burma who have been forced to take refuge in the border areas of Thailand.

I visited the clinic in 2008. The clinic is funded entirely by donations. I now make and sell mosaics with the profits going directly to the Karen Refugee Camps Women's Development Group, Scottish Support Trust. The trust supports Karen refugees from Burma. Most of the assistance is provided through support for the Mae Tao clinic run by Dr Cynthia Maung.
