On Monday 31st May, I'll be running10k (dear god) for Elizabeth Finn Care, a charity which helps people living in financial need. If you've ever seen me run, you'll know why this is something of a challenge!

I'm trying to raise £250 for Elizabeth Finn Care and need you to help me.

Your money will help Elizabeth Finn Care provide financial support for basics such as groceries, household repairs, mobility aids and heating costs to individuals and families who are struggling to cope. Elizabeth Finn Care is also committed to making sure everyone has access to clear and straightforward information about where financial help and support might be available to them, which is why they set up www.turn2us.org.uk - a website which helps people find what help is out there for them.

With so many people affected by the current financial climate, the work Elizabeth Finn Care does is more important than ever. Oh, and yes I do work for Elizabeth Finn Care, but I can promise none of the money will go anywhere near me!

I'll be running with colleagues from Elizabeth Finn Care, as well as Brown Bear and Andy (who will no doubt sprint off and leave me), so if you want to come shout encouragement on the day, that would be great.
