My personal message:

Now what on earth am I doing you may ask that requests so many donations to hit a £3000 sponsor target?!?

Come December I will be climbing the tallest free standing mountain in the wordl! MOUNT KILIMANJARO! Rising at a total of 5880m above sea level its peak doesn't lie too far short of Everest. The trek will be a 7day intensive challenge to help raise money for Engineers Against Poverty.

Shes fit enough, she'll survive you may say but this will require months of training and even that wont even begin to prepare me for the altitude sickness that can begin at 3000m.

So I ask you to dig deep into your pockets and help fight poverty and promote sustainable develpoment in the extractive industries, public sector infrastructure and engineering education. Not forgetting to help me reach my sponsor target so I may attempt such a challenge.
