<p>Funny how much you can regret saying just one little word.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>When I said 'yes' to running 10K for the Brighton charity Amaze, who provide invaluable support to parents of children with special needs, I had no idea what I was saying. &nbsp;10K is 6 miles in old money, 6 miles!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>I hate exercise. &nbsp;I resent having to walk to the car. &nbsp;I'd rather wait for another bus than run for one. &nbsp;I am not for running.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>I'd like to say the weeks of training for this have been fun. &nbsp;They haven't. &nbsp;I've bitched and moaned all the way through, so this is more about my trainer's patience which has been far more charitable than my attitude...</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>So please donate some money to Amaze, safe in the knowledge that you won't ever have to sponsor me for anything to do with running again. &nbsp;Ever.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thank you,<br>Annabel xx</p> <p>PS It is quite good for keeping fit, and staying thin, and sleeping well and the men are very nice to watch as they pass you...&nbsp;</p>
