The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Well I made it!  It was the hardest thing I have ever done, and will probably ever do, both physically and mentally.  If you have already donated you should have received an email with a link to my blog, if you haven't received this then don't hesitate to get in touch because it is available to all sponsors.  In total the group averaged around 11 hours of walking a day - this is all steep up and downhill slopes, no flat bits - and that was combined with little sleep, early starts, LEECHES and the joys of camping.  We worked out that we walked around 100km (that's like me walking to York from my house), and don't forget the altitude - the air was so thin that if I tried to breathe deeply it made me cough like I had just run cross country!  However it was important to all of us that we kept focused on just why we were putting ourselves through this.

The Prince's Trust help struggling young people all over the UK turn their lives around, but to do this they need your support! No matter how much you can afford to donate every single penny is appreciated, it all adds up to make a real difference to people's lives

I have until the 19th October to continue raising funds, but for now, thank you so much for visiting and donating, every little helps
