Story

Hello and welcome to my fund-raising site!

I will be cycling the 1000 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats between September 19th and October 13th 2008 raising money for the Maisha Mapya Education Centre in Tanzania.

The choice of charity is really important to me and has a bit of history. This year I was awarded a prize by the University of Edinburgh, which is allowing me to fund the trip, and in doing so I want to pass on something positive. I was fortunate in my education, and this is my chance to help out young people at the Maisha Mapya Education Centre in Moshi, Tanzania. The centre is planning to build a third classroom (for domestic science classes) and needs funds for materials in the room, such as shelves, tables, chairs, stoves and cooking materials.
