Kianh provides full time special needs education, therapies, life skills and family support in rural Viet Nam. Kianh operates in an extremely poor area with over 1000 children with disability under-served by schools and healthcare institutions. Our custom built centre serves 100+ children.

Story

We, Freya and Anna, pledge to defy death and risk life and limb in our quest to reach the summit of Japan`s highest mountain.

"But girls", I hear you cry.  "Why would you take on this risky and perilous endeavour, filled with danger and uncertainty!  Is there, perchance, a pub on the summit?"

To this we reply "No! And we resent the implication!  Is it so hard to believe that we would take part in a non-beer-related event?"  (We heard that `yes`!)

We are in fact, raising money for the Kianh Foundation in Vietnam.  Some of you will remember that Anna and Zoë volunteered there in 2005, and were profoundly affected by the experience.

"
The Kianh Foundation is a small UK charity helping disabled and disadvantaged children at Hoi An Orphanage in Hoi An, Central Vietnam.
We currently have eighty-eight children in our care, thirty seven of whom have a range of physical and intellectual disabilities, mainly Cerebral Palsy-related. We are striving to help each of them achieve their greatest potential in life, whatever that may be.
"

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. It`s also the most efficient way to sponsor us - The Kianh Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please, geez some money - gonnae gonnae gonnae!!

love Freya + Anna xx
