Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I succeeded in climbing the highest peak inAfrica– Kilimanjaro on 23rd October 2008 !!!!!
5,895 meters (19,340 ft) !!!
It wasn't easy, and we suffered the hardship of vast volumes of dust, rocky campsites, cold temperatures and an endless midnight trek up through volcanic dust and scree on summit night - but I made it!
I wish to use this opportunity to raise money for the very worthy ‘Friendship Clinic Charity’. This charity has raised enough money to build a medical clinic for the villagers in Meghauli in , whose nearest centre was 23kms away by foot. The Charity continues to support and maintain the clinic and is involved in other projects such as clean water projects and creating a kindergarden. See www.clinic-nepal.org.uk for details.
So, thanks so much to those who have sponsored me, and if anyone else can spare a small amount to sponsor me for this worthy cause, it would be gratefully appreciated!
Thanks very much, Anna
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Friendship Clinic Nepal (Uk) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
