On the 19th and 20th of November UNICEF on Campus Exeter will participate in a 24-hour fast to raise money for UNICEF's vital nutrition programme in Liberia, where almost a third of the children suffer from chronic malnutrition. Liberia remains one of the poorest in the world, ranked among the bottom five countries (176 out of 179) where nearly one-third of the Liberian population is undernourished. In addition, about 14 percent of children under five are underweight. Health officials feared that an estimated 74,000 Liberian children would die from malnutrition by 2015. 

Moreover, for every £1 we raise, this will be doubled by The Power of Nutrition, a charitable foundation.
