My friends will know that I do not run and I haven't done so for nearly two years. Last year my friend and colleague Dina died of cancer and not a day goes by when I don't think of her and miss her. Even in the midst of illness, Dina raised many thousands of pounds for UCH's Macmillan Cancer Care Centre. Her joy, love and generosity inspire me. I want to raise some cash for Cancer Research in her memory so that one day no one has to die because of cancer. 

Cancer research enabled my father-in-law to be a survivor of cancer and I want that to be the norm. 

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create a force that cancer can't ignore.
