At the top of my 'must achieve' list is to run the Flora London Marathon. I have been a keen runner for over ten years, participating in numerous 10km, 1/2 marathons and 30km fun runs, now I feel it is time to step it up a notch!
This year I have finally (after three years!) been lucky enough to secure a place in the Flora London Marathon. I will be running to help raise money for the eye research charity 'Fight for Sight'.
My Mum was diagnosed with the eye condition Keratoconus in her late teens. This has been debilitating for her at times and she has undergone years of treatment including two corneal transplants. My eldest sister has also been diagnosed with this hereditary condition and this has made me appreciate the importance of supporting the charity 'Fight for Sight'
