Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page. 

I am a girl on a mission.  To race in the 2010 Winter Paralympics in Vancouver. 

I joined the British Disabled Ski Team, development squad in June 2007, 17 months after becoming paraplegic in a snowboarding accident and started ski racing with the team in February 2008 in , where I managed 3 bronze places behind the World and European champions and have now been promoted to the B Team! 

I’m currently a self-funded athlete, raising money to train and race through sponsorship and work.  If you would like to sponsor my route to the Paralympics, it is safe and easy to do so online here.  If you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you, as ‘Gift Aid’.  Alternatively donations can be sent to DSUK and please state ‘for Anna Turney’s pot’ and whether gift aid is applicable or not.
