Please sponsor me, I'm taking part in the East Lancashire Hospice's Silver Starlight Walk in June. In memory of Mum, my husband Steve, my Dad John, my sister Helen and I are walking/running 40 miles between us. Please join our facebook group, "40 miles in memory of Penny." We're raising money for the hospice that cared for Mum and for charities that are working to find ways of fighting cancer. Nothing will bring Mum back, but if I can spare other families some of the pain we went through then I'm sure she'd be proud of me.

I'm quite conscious of the fact that I may be pestering people for money when they've already sponsored someone in our group. If that's you then relax, you don't have to give twice. If you've not sponsored any of us yet, then get your credit card out ....!

I've upped my target to £400, thanks for all the donations, so far. If I raise my target, Steve and I will have raised over £1000 between us.
