My name is Anne Edgar and I will be joining participants from across Northern Ireland on the Ulster Cancer Foundation's latest overseas adventure - a trek along the extinct volcanoes of the Rift Valley in Kenya..
Set in the heart of African safari this once in a lifetime experience is taking place from 7th-15th July when I will walk through Hells Gate National Park one of the few parks in Kenya where it is possible to trek.
I will be walking up to 9 hours each day to help raise funds for local people affected by cancer and the challenge doesn't end there - following a long day's trek in this vast savannah expanse I will be camping out under African skies and experiencing the real magic of Kenya.
Please help me reach my target of £3500 for this worthy cause.
