I have much to be thankful to God for, as he has restored my health following a long illness due to fibromyalgia, first diagnosed in early 1997. After a long uphill struggle I am now working full time again and can consider serving God in a more substantial capacity, hence I am now the Nottingham Area Representative for MAF.

I became interested in the charity as one of my hobbies is plane spotting and it seemed a logical extension. I will be ably assisted by my husband - Harry.

I have now just completed my first half marathon to raise funds and my target time was four hours. I am pleased to say that I completed it in 3hrs and 26mins. Praise God,
