Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am taking on the challenge of trekking the Great Wall of China in June 2010. The trip will consist of 5/6 hours trekking a day during the North China summer. Average temperatures are a scorcher between  a minimum of 26-35 degrees not to mention the humidity. This will be a gruelling challenge for me and I've been informed it is not a challenge for the faint hearted. For the challenge I will need to be physically fit, which is a challenge in its own right. I have taken up the challenge to support the work of the Northern Ireland Hospice Care. Each year NI Hospice give care and support to around 3000 adults and their families, further to that they also give care to 300 children and their families in NI only. The charity heavily relies on donations from the public!! it costs around 7 MILLION A YEAR to offer care and support to patients and families who's loved one is terminally ill or has a life limiting condition. Please help me raise the £3000 I need to be able to give something back to the NI Hospice, they offer care to patients at no personal expense.

Thank You,

Annette
