Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

The three of us  (Jen , Katie and I ) are off to Toronto to celebrate Jen's 40th Birthday in September , with a few others.  Jen is the one with the hat - yes , I know it's a shame, but she's attached to it !  I am the one on the left, just in case you can't recognise me  in my lycra!

As part of our celebrations we have signed up to compete in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon,    Jen's idea , but we all agreed that  we cannot go on holiday without a challenge ! 

To add to the challenge I would also like to run for The Rowans Hospice and raise £1000 and also beat my 3 hour 59 minutes personal best,  which will be a major challenge,  but I will do my best. 

The Rowans Hospice is such an amazing place ,which costs over £3million  to run each year.   The brilliant staff and volunteers provide a much valued service to patients , families and carers  which is first class,  and  I would like to take the opportunity of raiising much needed income , as over £2million needs to be raised from local fundraising.   So I am sending this to all my friends, family and anyone who knows me,  to help with my fundraising.

Furthermore  I was also so appreciative and thankful for the support that Jen and Katie gave me when organising  the Moonlit Memories Walk, that I now want to do my bit.   Jen and Katie gave invaluable help with the route planning  (yes, you can blame them for the extra loop at the end!)  and they were also the sweepers bringing up the walkers at the end .

So please do sponsor me -  all monies goes straight to the Hospice and if I achieve my goal of £1000 ,  I will certainly enjoy Jen's 40th birthday celebrations and holiday even more !
