THANK YOU FOR GETTING HERE!
This is a great little charity for families like ours. It's helped us loads, and we'd like to raise a few quid for others in a similar position.
Jago's now 10 months old and we think he's amazing. He's had open heart surgery, 3 general anaesthetics and more lotions and potions than you could shake a stick at. We thank God for every day we have together, knowing that we can't take this life for granted.
He can crawl and chunter like a goodun, and his favourite things are bouncing in his door bouncer and being mobbed my Minnie. They are so great together.
We're 'running' (ie pottering) the 5k with Jago's good friend Ethan and his Mum Marion, whom we met in hospital. Jago and Ethan had their first surgery on the same day by the same surgeon, and Ethan has already has his second surgery. Two hardy fellows.
It's been quite a journey so far, and we know there's more ahead. We're currently waiting on official results from a recent MRI scan to inform his next surgery. Echo have added touches that have made life - especially during pregnancy and while in hospital - more 'normal'. We're very grateful for that, and think it's a great cause. We're also ever-grateful for all the love and support we've had from friends and family, but very aware that not everyone has that luxury. For these people Echo is even more important.
