In 2002 my dad had a car accident leaving him paralysed from the neck downwards. Me, and a group of about 60 others, are running the Wilmslow half marathon for Spinal Research. 

Spinal Research is the UK's leading charity funding medical research around the world to develop reliable treatments for paralysis caused by a broken back or neck. Like most other charities, they are in great need of funding to carry on this lifechanging research.
