Thanks for taking the time to visit our Casa Alianza JustGiving page.
Our nephew, Simon, has spent the last 9 months working with Casa Alianza at its centre in Managua, Nicaragua. Simon has been passionate about human rights and improving the lives of the under privileged.
After studying for a Masters in International Law and Human Rights at the United Nation’s University of Peace in Costa Rica, he joined a Casa Alianza centre in Nicaragua where he has been helping to bring some quality to the lives of street children in one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere.
Casa Alianza work with young people who are the victims of abuse, exploitation and human trafficking. The centre’s aim is to rescue and turn around the lives of young children who are forced to live on the streets where they face a daily battle to survive.
It has two residential centres, for over 100 teenagers, which provide a place to sleep, food, education, psychological support, skills and training, sports and recreation, legal representation, and a family reintegration process.
