At Christians Against Poverty, we equip local churches to support people facing debt and other financial challenges. We campaign for a redesigned society that works for everyone, including those on the lowest incomes. Find out more about us at capuk.org or follow us on social media.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm scared of heights, often faint, and I'm going to abseiling down Baiting's Reservoir on October 24th to raise money for Christians Against Poverty!

I've worked for CAP since June last year as a debt counsellor. We provide free debt counselling and advice to enable people who are in difficulties with their money to become debt free. This involves re-educating them about their finances and how to deal with their money.

Because we're Christians, we're not funded by the government at all, which is why we need to raise as much money through sponsorship and other methods as we can!

Please sponsor me with lots of your lovely money and I shall post some pictures on facebook of me looking terrified whilst abseiling shortly after the event for your amusement!
