Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
For those of you who don't know this is my second attempt at the London Marathon. I signed up to run for charity a couple of years back on a whim as it was one of those things I'd always wanted to complete. This year I've put in a little more training and am hoping to complete the marathon in under 4 hours. I've been training since the end of 2005 and will be running a half marathon the Sunday immediately after St. Patrick's Day (1hr 48mins).
If that doesn't sound gruelling enough I'm well on my way to completing another marathon, this time excluding alcohol. That's right, I've not had a drop of alcohol in 2006 (except the few drinks post mid-night as part of nye celebrations) and will not until completion of my 2nd marathon on St.George's Day. There's a few wagers running already on that one as there's a few doubters out there...
