Once again I can't believe the London Marathon is here again - and I can't believe I'm running it - again!!!!!  Nevertheless, I am excited about running in such a marvelous event on the 23rd - it really is a tremendous experience to go out and run in front of the crowds - I call it my own mini-olympics!!

Since my finishing time of 3 hours 28 mins last year allowed me an automatic entry for this years race,  and becuase everyone had given so generously over the last two years in sponsorship, I had decided not to ask for donations this year, and simply run 'in memory' of my sister.  Last year I was overwhelmed by your generosity and I raised over £3500.  However, even though I have not been actively seeking sponsorship this year, people have been asking where they should send their donations to - once again, so generous, and so greatly appreciated.  So I have set up the justgiving website as a means for anyone, who wants to sponsor me for the London Marathon, to do so.

I am so greatful, as are the AT society, for any donations, and just simply for wishes of support - it means an awful lot.  For those of you who don't know, my sister, who had AT, passed away last year and so the charity is so close to my heart.

I will be using michele's memory to spur me on again this year - I use her strength and bravery as a source of motivation and inspiration in all that I do, and there wil probably be no better time to use it than through the last gruelling miles of the marathon race.  She is the angel on my shoulder, and she will help me home on 23rd, I have no doubt.
