my son anthony lost his fight for life on the 20th nov 09 after 8 months in hospital suffering from severe aplastic anemia he never got to come home its a rare illness which gives you bone marrow failure and no immune system he was given platlets and blood tranfusions nearly every day for the 8 months and suffered 4 operations due to complications his only chance of survival was a bone marrow donor but unfortunatly it was hard to find one in this country but finally one was found abroad but ant got too poorly too be able too have it. he endured endless pain and suffering but always stayed positive he never wanted to die especially at 19yrs old !!!!! his wish was for me too start a charity in his name to raise awareness for blood donors and platlet donor and bone marrow donation and help find a cure for this awful disease so please help me achieve his wish i love him and miss him everyday and need to do this in order for my life to continue thankyou for taking the time to help any ideas would be welcome
