It's in the Standard, so it must be true: A. Quinn 4:48:46.
I had a great day. If you're interested, it went a bit like this:

A brief, final word about Trinity Hospice:
I saw people on the Marathon with photos of lost children or parents, partners or friends. People running in memory, through grief, with love.
I may not get cancer, or heart disease, or lose a child, but I will die. If am very, very fortunate, it will be in a place like Trinity, or after having received the loving and expert care of those who work from places like Trinity.
I'm so grateful to have been part of the event on Sunday, because it felt like being part of a great big karmic act of love. 35,000 people doing an extraordinary thing for 35,000 reasons - somehow adding to the sum of human happiness.
Only love can conquer death? As Brodie from Baltimore might say, "True, dat."
Many, many thanks to everyone who's made a contribution.
This page is open for donations for while yet. You're welcome to check out what Trinity do at

I was running to support the stunning new Residential Wing, which you're welcome to visit; just let me know.
And, finally,
