 I'm cycling from John o' Groats to Lands End with two friends (Gary Hancock and Gerard Rogers) starting on July 3rd 2009 and hopefully finishing 10 days later, having covered nearly 1000 miles!

We're all three from Tideswell in Derbyshire and are over 50 years of age - I know we don't look it!! We enjoy cycling, though whether we'll still enjoy it after this..........  

My daughter Laura works for YFC leading their CRUX Theatre team and I would love to raise some money for YFC so she can carry on doing her marvellous work, using touring drama to engage with young people and explore the issues which matter to them.
