Story

P Coy Challenge 2009

On 13th September 2009, I shall be taking part in the P Coy Challenge 2009 http://www.paras10.com/.

This challenge is a 10 mile run across (very) undulating ground wearing military boots and a 35lb pack with the course to be completed within 1 hour 50.  I'm currently training with my mate Richard Phillis (Bunde) and I'll also be doing the challenge with him - I'm confident he'll provide me with his usual combination of very vocal encouragement and abuse which never fails to drag me through the pain barrier  and get me round.

I've decided to raise money for Help for Heroes as I think it is a really worthwhile cause, providing vital support to our wounded servicemen and women.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Help for Heroes gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Anyway, thanks for visiting my fundraising page and a big thanks to you if you choose to support me and Help for Heroes
