Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this page. As many of you will probably know Anthony lost his battle to leukaemia on New Years Day after a tough 16 months in and out of hospital. Despite putting up a hard fight he was eventually overcome and died peacefully surrounded by his family. We urge all of you to support ELF and the work it does in trying to find a cure for this terrible disease. The current rate of survival is only 40% which is shockingly low when compared to other cancers. Your contribution will help improve this. We would also urge all eligible people to sign up to the Anthony Nolan bone marrow register. This provides people globally with possible matches for stem cell transplants. For most leukaemia sufferers this will be their only chance of a cure. No money is required - just sign up, and if you become a match it will be a pain-free procedure - as simple as giving blood. You can give a dying person a second chance at life. Please help us make sure that something meaningful comes out of this awful tragedy

Love Jill and Victoria
